Hello, I’m Shelbey Arevalo, CDA, QMDSA, BCPA, CDBS — leader & owner of Elite Dental Systems (formerly Arevalo Elite Services).
If you’ve worked with me, you know I’m passionate about structure, organization, being of service, and helping dental teams feel more in control of their day.
I started my career in dentistry as a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) during my senior year of high school. Early on, I realized I was most interested in why things worked the way they did — and how small changes in systems could make a big difference in outcomes.
That curiosity grew into a purpose- to help practices operate proactively instead of reactively, through systems that make work easier, billing cleaner, and communication clearer.
The Story Behind the Start
Every dental office has its challenges — the “fires” that seem to come up again and again. Unsent claims, insurance questions, billing confusion, or unclear responsibilities can all create unnecessary stress.
Over the years, I’ve come to see my role as helping practices identify where those fires start and giving them the right tools — or “buckets of water” — to put them out.
Each “bucket” represents a system or process that prevents problems from repeating. Once your team understands those systems, your office moves from reactive to proactive, and the workday becomes smoother for everyone.
